Responsibilities

• Creating optimized 3D models of products (mainly automotive) from CAD data or image references, while adhering to deadlines
• Using 3D modeling, texturing/mapping, lighting and other techniques to create graphics, visual effects, and animations
• Understanding project requirements and conceptualizing creative ideas
• Following guidelines/pipeline as per project requirements
• Collaborating with other artists for ongoing projects
• Reviewing 3D art and recommending visual as well as technical improvements
• Receiving feedback from Managers, Sr. Artists, and clients, and editing creations based on comments
• Troubleshooting problems that arise during production
• Meeting with stakeholders to discuss various aspects of projects

Requirements

• Strong portfolio of previous work and completed projects
• Strong working knowledge of industry-standard software, including Blender/3Ds Max/Maya, Photoshop, Substance Painter, and Z-brush (Blender experience preferred)
• Experience in 3D Graphics development specifically for game engines and AR/VR environments
• Skilled in look development, with experience working in various visual styles
• Strong knowledge of rendering fundamentals
• Understanding of technical art asset delivery for real-time environments across platforms
• Excellent creative and artistic skills
• Eye for photorealism
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Innovative and self-directed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with product photography and lighting
• Experience producing 3D assets related to the Automotive industry
• Experience producing 3D assets for WebGL applications/game engines
• Experience working in the gaming industry
